Welcome to El Mande Camping Ground. By accessing our website at elmandecamp.com and making a booking, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

 

1. Booking & Reservation

 

1.1 Online Booking

• All bookings made through elmandecamp.com are subject to availability and confirmation.
• Your booking is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment and confirmation notification via email or WhatsApp.
• Bookings are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

1.2 Walk-in & Phone Bookings

• Walk-in and phone bookings are subject to availability at the time of request.
• Payment must be completed at our reception to secure your reservation.

 

1.3 Booking Information

• Guests must provide accurate personal information including full name, phone number, and email address.
• It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure all booking details (dates, number of guests, area selection, add-ons) are correct before completing payment.

 

1.4 Group Bookings

• For group bookings (10+ tents or full area reservations), please contact us via WhatsApp for special arrangements and pricing.

 

2. Payment

 

2.1 Payment Methods

• We accept payment via our integrated payment gateway (Midtrans/Xendit) including credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and e-wallets.
• Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.

 

2.2 Pricing

• All prices are listed in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price applicable is the price at the time of booking confirmation.

 

2.3 Additional Charges

• Any damage to facilities, equipment, or camp areas will be charged to the guest at replacement cost.
• Late check-out fees may apply if not arranged in advance.

 

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

 

3.1 Cancellation by Guest

• More than 7 days before check-in: 80% refund of total booking amount
• 3-7 days before check-in: 50% refund of total booking amount
• Less than 3 days before check-in: No refund
• No-show: No refund

 

3.2 Cancellation by El Mande

• In the event of unforeseen circumstances (extreme weather, natural disasters, government regulations, or facility issues), El Mande reserves the right to cancel bookings.
• Full refund or rescheduling options will be offered in such cases.

 

3.3 Refund Process

• Approved refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days to the original payment method.

 

3.4 Modification of Booking

• Changes to booking dates or area selection are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
• Modification requests must be made at least 3 days before check-in.

 

4. Check-in & Check-out

 

4.1 Standard Times

• Check-in: 2:00 PM
• Check-out: 12:00 PM (noon)

 

4.2 Early Check-in / Late Check-out

• Subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
• Must be arranged in advance with reception.

 

4.3 Check-in Requirements

• Valid government-issued ID (KTP/SIM/Passport) must be presented at check-in.
• Booking confirmation (email/WhatsApp) should be shown to reception staff.

 

5. Guest Responsibilities & Conduct

 

5.1 Area & Facilities Use

• Guests must use only the area and kavling (plot) specified in their booking.
• Respect quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
• Maximum occupancy per kavling must not be exceeded.

 

5.2 Prohibited Activities

• Open fires outside designated areas
• Loud music or excessive noise after 10:00 PM
• Alcohol consumption in public areas
• Illegal substances or activities
• Littering or environmental damage
• Bringing pets (unless pre-approved)
• Commercial activities without prior permission

 

5.3 Environmental Care

• Take all trash with you or dispose in designated bins.
• Do not damage trees, plants, or wildlife.
• Use water and electricity responsibly.
• Follow “Leave No Trace” principles.

 

5.4 Safety

• Guests camp at their own risk. El Mande is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property.
• Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times.
• Follow all safety guidelines and instructions from El Mande staff.

 

6. Equipment Rental

 

6.1 Rental Packages

• Tent and equipment rental packages are available as add-ons during booking.
• Equipment must be returned in the same condition as received.

 

6.2 Damage or Loss

• Guests are responsible for any damage or loss of rented equipment.
• Replacement costs will be charged for missing or damaged items.

 

6.3 Equipment Inspection

• Guests should inspect rented equipment upon receipt and report any issues immediately.

 

7. Liability & Insurance

 

7.1 Personal Belongings

• El Mande is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
• Guests are advised to secure valuable items.

 

7.2 Personal Injury

• El Mande is not liable for any personal injury, illness, or accidents during your stay.
• Guests are advised to have personal travel/health insurance.

 

7.3 Vehicle & Parking

• Parking is provided for guest convenience but El Mande is not responsible for vehicle damage or theft.
• Park only in designated areas.

 

8. Force Majeure

El Mande shall not be held liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters (earthquakes, landslides, floods)
• Extreme weather conditions
• Government regulations or restrictions
• Public health emergencies
• Acts of terrorism or civil unrest

 

9. Photography & Marketing

 

9.1 Content Usage

• El Mande may photograph or film the camping ground for promotional purposes.
• By visiting El Mande, you consent to potentially appear in such materials.
• If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform our staff.

 

9.2 Guest Content

• Photos or videos shared by guests on social media may be reposted by El Mande with credit.
• Tag us @elmandecamp on Instagram!

 

10. Privacy & Data Protection

 

10.1 Personal Information

• Personal data collected during booking is used solely for reservation management and communication.
• We do not share your information with third parties except as required for payment processing.

10.2 Communication

• By making a booking, you consent to receive booking confirmations, updates, and promotional materials via email or WhatsApp.
• You may opt out of promotional communications at any time.

 

11. Right to Refuse Service

El Mande reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a guest’s stay without refund if:

• Guest violates these terms and conditions
• Guest engages in illegal activities
• Guest’s behavior threatens safety or disturbs other guests
• False information was provided during booking
• Guest fails to comply with staff instructions

 

12. Website Use

 

12.1 Accuracy

• While we strive to ensure information accuracy, El Mande does not guarantee that website content is error-free.
• Area descriptions, photos, and specifications are representative but may vary slightly.

 

12.2 Availability

• The website and booking system may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or technical issues.
• We are not liable for any loss resulting from website downtime.

 

12.3 Links

• Our website may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for content or practices of external sites.

 

13. Intellectual Property

All content on elmandecamp.com including text, graphics, logos, images, and software is the property of El Mande Camping Ground and protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

 

14. Amendments

El Mande reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

 

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Indonesia.
